TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- An approaching cold front is expected to stall just to the north of our area across north Georgia and central Alabama. Locally we are not expected to see anything from this. Instead, our weather will be coming to us in the form of an afternoon seabreeze. This means scattered rain and possible thunderstorms through the early evening hours of Sunday.
Tonight, will be another mild evening with lows falling to the mid and lower 70s under mostly clear skies. Winds will remain light, about 5 mph from the southwest. Patchy fog could be possible.
Sunday will start with mostly sunny skies and become cloudier in the afternoon. Due to the seabreeze and daytime heating, our rain chances will peek in the afternoon as well at about 50 percent coverage. Highs warm to the lower 90s, but will feel more like triple digit heat. Winds remain southwesterly at about 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday night will be another quiet night with lows in the mid 70s under mostly clear skies.
