TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - For the first week of the new year, it'll feel much more typical for this time of year. Temps dip into the low to mid 40s with a slight breeze, but we'll see a lot more sunshine later on, compared to the last couple weeks. Highs will be cool but comfortable near 60°. Overnight through Wednesday morning, freeze watches are in effect for all inland communities and temps will dip to the low 30s. Temps in the mid 50s to low 60s for afternoon highs through Thursday before a rain maker sweeps through late Thursday in to Friday morning and temps will warm consistently to the low 70s for the end of the work week and this weekend. This weekend will be mild with temps in the low 50s and highs in the upper 60s.
