This dry spell will be very short lived as showers and thunderstorms roll through the region this afternoon and evening. Cooler air will settle in, and a secondary cold front will shortly follow on Wednesday reinforcing some much colder air across the area. Temperatures will be above average today through Tuesday. After the second cold front though, you can expect temps to drop substantially. We could wake up Thursday morning with morning lows around 28 degrees, and a hard freeze watch may be issued. Sunshine stays with us on Thursday and highs will reach 56. We will have partly cloudy skies on Friday with a small chance for showers and a high of 59. Sunny and dry conditions return on Saturday and Sunday with high temps in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.
Make it a great Monday!
