MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered cloudiness will generally remain void of rain locally, but the overall chances for additional showers and thunderstorms will increase through the next three to four days. A cold front currently in the Arklatex region will approach the Florida/Georgia line through tomorrow evening, triggering scattered showers and storms by afternoon. Activity may be more prevalent in the tri-state region and southern Georgia, while north Florida storminess will be slightly less numerous. With moisture and warmth, plus upper-level activity, isolated stronger or severe storms are possible. Lows tonight will be around 60°, with highs in the 70s in south Georgia while Suwannee River counties may easily exceed 80°. The front will linger and meander through Thursday and Friday, creating periods of rain and storm action through this window of time.
