MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The latest cold front is producing scattered pockets of showers, brief downpours, and isolated thunderstorms, combined with breezy southerly winds. A couple of cases of stronger wind gusts are possible as storms rumble through, but the overall coverage should remain scattered, and severe weather chances are very low. Drying and some clearing will occur by late tonight and continue for Tuesday. Lows will be cooler in the mid to upper 50s, but with dry air and not much of a cold air source nearby, highs will get back into the warm mid and upper 80s; it just won't be as muggy as it was over the weekend. The same cold front is forecast to return to the north by late Wednesday, ahead of a stronger low-pressure center which shows a greater chance for broader rain coverage by Thursday, along with a few more potent thunderstorms possible. Then, it'll be cooler and drier for the weekend.
