MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

As high pressure increases its profile in regional weather this week, we'll experience fewer and fewer organized areas of active and strong thunderstorms.  A scattering of this sort of weather is likely for coastal sections of the central and eastern Big Bend, into the Suwannee River valley, through late tonight, but these storms are from the typical elements of heating and wind boundaries which should limit the strength and endurance of these rainy spots.  Gradual clearing is expected overnight with lows in the lower 70s.  The seabreeze will be the main driving force behind scattered showers and storms in the afternoon Tuesday.  Greater coverage is forecast for coastal zones, with less action well inland.  Highs will be in the upper 80s at the beaches to mid 90s inland.  The building high by the end of the week with further reduce rain potential and may kick highs well into the mid 90s in more locations.
