TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Starting off chilly in the upper 30s with occasional gusts out of the northwest up to 25 mph will add insult to injury allowing wind chills to dip into the mid to low 30s. Though we'll have plenty of sunshine on the back end of the polar cold front that passed through Thursday, temps will only get into the mid to upper 50s. Then tonight, the high pressure system passes to our north and temps will become quite wintry once again dipping to the freezing mark. Because of this, freeze warnings are in place for our northwestern counties. Winds quickly shift from the northeast which will boost our temps back to the mid 60s. The warming trend transitions to Sunday with lows moderating into the mid 40s and highs cracking above that 70° mark. This is all ahead of another frontal system that will advance along the Gulf shoreline allowing us to get in on some healthy rains to begin next work week.
