Storm Team Friday Morning Forecast (08/09/2013)

Today is going to be a hot one! Highs are going to reach to the mid 90's for inland counties, while it will be slightly cooler along the coastal areas. In addition to the warm temperatures, humidity values will be very high, inducing some extremely muggy conditions throughout the region. As for rain chances, today is going to be an ideal day as rain chances remain low, only at 30%. Expect the isolated showers and storms to pop up especially in the afternoon to early evening hours. As we move into the evening hours temperatures will drop to the mid to low 70's overnight. Expect that mugginess to persist though through the overnight hours with rain chances still remaining relatively low. As for the weekend, much of the same is in store. Expect rain chances to be around 30% associated with highs of 95 during the day. Eventually as we move into the next work week, a more typical summer pattern returns with slightly higher rain chances and temperatures only reaching the low 90's.
