MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
We are reaching the end of the widespread light rain chances, but the clouds will likely persist for the beginning of the weekend. Bountiful moisture and a slightly cooler northeast flow will help to keep the layers of clouds in place through tonight and at least the first half of Saturday, though any rain activity will be limited to widely scattered showers and sprinkles. As dry air effects the region through the next 48 hours, and the high-pressure system to the north moves south, the clouds will break, and Sunday is expected to be sunnier. Tonight's lows will drop to around 60°, and highs will rise depending on how much sunshine breaks through; most areas will be in the neighborhood of 70°. Morning lows will fall to near or below average through early next week, while highs will be mild, turning progressively warmer toward midweek.
