MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The newest high-pressure area is moving overhead tonight, calming the winds and setting up a chilly scenario for early Saturday morning. Frost is more likely to form, perhaps in a widespread case, especially in open fields and unobstructed rooftops. Lows will drop to the lower 30s, and a brief freeze is possible for many inland locations. The high stays close by through the weekend, but repositions itself to provide a light southeast or southerly wind through Sunday. This will lend support to a daytime warming trend. Highs in the middle 60s tomorrow will further increase to the lower 70s by Sunday. A few clouds will mix with the sun then, with a chance for showers with the next front by Monday. Signs are leaning to a colder trend in the long-range outlook.
