MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
High pressure systems will continue to rule the regional weather pattern through the weekend, with a couple of slight changes from previous days. Saturday will feature morning temps in the 50s with a clear sky, and abundant sunshine during the day. A light west wind will support warming temperatures, and it may get a bit toasty by mid-afternoon as highs away from the coast are forecast to reach the mid 80s. A weak, dry cold front will swing through the area early Sunday, renewing the stable pattern and providing a wind shift that will knock down high temps for Sunday into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Next week, the high may keep a vast amount of Gulf moisture just to the south of the area, but a few more clouds may be present in our sky.
