MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Excessive cloud cover is anticipated through most of the weekend as temperatures get a boost from a stronger southerly wind flow. It will be unseasonably mild overnight with a chance for passing showers early in the morning. With the moisture and warmer air mass, lows will level off around the upper 50s to around 60° all night long. It may be occasionally breezy and quite muggy for most of Saturday, with a few breaks of afternoon sun along the Big Bend and Suwannee River Valley regions, which will allow highs to break into the mid to upper 70s. Slightly cooler highs are forecast for south Georgia with persistent cloudiness. A cold front enters the scene Sunday with increasing chances for rain area-wide along with a few thunderstorms. Severe weather risk is somewhat limited Sunday, but an isolated severe storm can't be ruled out. Next week, temperatures will gradually return to typical, colder January levels.
