(WTXL) — The National Weather Service confirms that a tornado is moving from Washington County into Jackson County.
NWS says the confirmed tornado was last seen crossing from Washington County into in Jackson County near Alford, just south of I-10.
A tornado warning has since expired in Jackson County.
If you're issued a tornado warning, then it's time to go to your safe place. That means a tornado is imminent and it's been spotted by a trained storm spotter or detected by rotation on radar.
