The evening will feature a clear sky and cooling temperatures. Overnight lows will drop to the lower thirties in many areas, creating chances for patchy frost and a brief freeze by dawn. Plenty of sunshine will be over the Big Bend Thursday, allowing our temperatures to reach the mid 60s in the afternoon. A warmer, more seasonal trend makes it way into our area for the remainder of the week into the weekend with winds from the north to northeast. Friday morning will be cool, but another sunny day will occur, causing readings to reach the 70s during the afternoon. Weekend lows will finally break free of the thirties and reach 40 degrees as highs climb more solidly into the 70s. By Sunday, a few more clouds will enter our area, but rain chances will be absent until late next Tuesday.
