Spotty, but locally heavy, rain has impacted parts of the viewing region. Some of the thunderstorms have contained dangerous and frequent lightning, with downpours that have totaled up to 3/4" in sections of the Tallahassee metro area. Any evening showers or storms should remain scattered, and likely weaker than what was experienced in the mid-afternoon. Overall, the weather set-up will feature higher chances for widespread rain through the end of the week, and the tropical moisture will enhance the potential for heavy rain and flooding concerns. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 70s. Highs Thursday may be capped to near 90° if cloudiness thickens enough. A few spots may exceed 90°.
