MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A cold front is still lurking in the southern extent of our region, hovering around coastal and interior North Florida zones and keeping a veil of cloudiness in place in those areas, while more sunshine is present in south Georgia and near the state line. The front will continue to meander near its current location for another 36 hours or so, so cloud cover amounts will vary from point to point tomorrow. In general, the sky will be clearer north, but cloudier south. An isolated shower is possible near the coast and in the SuwanneeRiver valley Tuesday. Lows tonight will be in the upper 40s north to middle 50s south … and highs tomorrow should climb well into the 70s area-wide. A stronger northern polar front surges into the Southeast by midweek, creating another round of rain and finally giving the area prolonged clear sky for the end of the week as well as a decline in temperatures.
