MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
High pressure is still having a lasting effect on the region’s weather by maintaining a generally clear sky through this evening and tonight. However, southeasterly winds are starting to add Gulf and bay moisture to the atmosphere, and we’ll see that in the form of scattered clouds and breaks of sunshine Saturday. There won’t be enough moisture or other features to put a significant rain chance into Saturday’s picture, but Sunday will be different as a wave of low-pressure energy enters the area from the west, interacts with the increased moisture and wind, and produce cloudy conditions with showers, rain, and a few thunderstorms, especially in the last half of the day. There’s a limited chance for a couple of stronger storms Sunday. Showers may linger into Monday. Lows tonight will fall to the lower 40s, and highs climb well into the 70s by afternoon.
