We are keeping an eye on one area of low pressure in the SE Caribbean. The is a tropical wave and an associated broad area of low pressure that has a 10% chance to intensify into a tropical depression or storm within the next 48 hours. The system is moving toward the southern Gulf of Mexico where winds are slightly more favorable for development so it has been given a 30% chance for development over the next 5 days.
If this system does not develop it could still bring up tropical moisture into our region and increase rain chances for the weekend.
