MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- We have a new Tropical Depression: Sixteen.
The depression has sustained winds of 35 mph as of the 5am ET advisory. It is currently stationary just easy of Nicaragua. The storm is expected to intensify into a tropical storm, and then a hurricane, as it begins to move due west toward southern Nicaragua/ northern Costa Rica. If the tropical depression becomes a tropical storm, the name would be "Otto".
It is no threat to the U.S. and no other tropical threat exists in the Atlantic at this time.
