MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Julia is no more. The last advisory was issued on the post-tropical cyclone that was once Julia, last night. It will help enhance the moisture in the local area, but no direct impacts are anticipated.
Tropical Storm Karl is still over the open Atlantic Ocean with winds of 40 mph and it is disorganized. It is battling wind shear and dry air, but it is expected to win the uphill battle and become a hurricane, turning north near Bermuda.
Tropical Depression Thirteen is to the southwest of the Cape Verde islands. It is not a threat to land as it will quickly turn northwest into the open ocean. It may become Tropical Storm Lisa by tomorrow.
