TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- — As the academic year wraps up, students at the Tallahassee School of Math and Science made a day out of experiencing different career opportunities.
About a dozen professionals in various STEM-based fields of study rotated around several classrooms Tuesday morning for the school's annual Career Day activities.
Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse participated, speaking Kindergarten and fifth-grade groups, describing to them the steps involved in a meteorology career, options within the science, and his own childhood interest in weather along with the string of events that guided his educational and career path.
