Andrea weakens into post-tropical cyclone

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- — The swirl of clouds that made the former Subtropical Storm Andrea has lost most of its ability to maintain storm development and organization, and is being declassified as a named disturbance.

The leftovers of Andrea are over 200 miles west-southwest of Bermuda, moving east-northeast at 8 mph.

A considerable amount of dry air and faster upper-level winds have contributed to the storm's weakening trend, and it is expected to be fully dissipated by Thursday.
