VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - If you've been meaning to do some spring cleaning, get ready to look at your medicine cabinets.
A free and no questions asked prescription drug drop off box is now available thanks to the Valdosta Police Department.
The drop-box is open 24 hours a day in the outer lobby at police headquarters. Drugs that can be dropped off include controlled substances for people and pets.
No fee or documents are required.
VPD has a contract with a drug disposal company to come pick up once a month.
