(RNN) - Florida bids a not-so-fond farewell to the drenching Tropical Depression Emily as it moves out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Located 50 miles north-northeast of Vero Beach, FL, Emily was moving to the east-northeast at 12 mph, packing maximum-sustained winds of 30 mph.
All watches and warnings associated with this storm have been cancelled as the storm's trajectory takes it away from the coast.
Emily became a tropical storm Monday morning before it made landfall in the Bradenton, FL, area, causing flooding and strong wind that downed trees and damaged roofs in central and south Florida, according to WWSB.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge was closed during the height of the storm. A 60 mph wind gust was reported at the bridge.
No injuries were reported, though two men had to be rescued from Tampa Bay after their boat sunk, the Associated Press reported.
Forecasters say Emily may strengthen a bit over open water and stands a chance of being absorbed by a trough. In any case, the poorly organized storm will probably become a post-tropical low in about 36 hours.
