PAYSON, UT - At least one person is dead after a small plane crashed into a house in Utah.
The aircraft went down in Payson which is about an hour south of Salt Lake City.
Sergeant Mimi Sandoval, with the Payson City Police Department, said investigators are still working at the site of the crash.
“We have a person in the plane that's deceased. Until we're able to actually get that person out and get the medical examiner involved, we're not going to be able to verify male or female," said Sandoval.
The road near the site of the crash remains closed.
