NEW YORK (News 12 Brooklyn/CNN) - New York Police say officers shot and killed a man who was wielding a knife on Monday in Brooklyn.
According to a police source, no officers were injured as they tried to use a stun gun to subdue an emotionally-disturbed man.
Authorities say the stun gun was ineffective, and the man disobeyed orders to drop his weapon.
He was taken into custody after being shot, but died at the scene a short time later.
