(WCCO) – A Minnesota company is taking action against the threat of school shootings.
Versare has created bulletproof classroom dividers that don't look much different than ordinary partitions.
The big difference is that they're able to withstand bullets.
"These products that we're talking about, they've been in schools for 20 years. But at the end of the day, the consumer sees the same, exact product but now it has that extra level of protection," said Robert Jantschek, the CEO and founder of Versare.
There aren't any schools in Minnesota using the partitions yet.
