(CNN) - Netflix original series "House of Cards" has resumed production of its final season.
The critically-acclaimed drama suspended production for three months after its star, Kevin Spacey, was accused of sexual misconduct by several people.
Netflix then cut ties with Spacey.
"House of Cards" will turn to new cast members for its sixth and final season.
Oscar nominees Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane have joined the cast.
Netflix says they will play siblings but did not elaborate.
It's also not clear how Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, will be written out of the show.
The final season of "House of Cards" could be released later this year.
