WAYNOKA, OK (CNN) - A resident in Oklahoma captured a photo of funnel clouds forming in the distance Thursday.
Severe weather broke out across western Oklahoma, as many storms left damage in different areas.
The National Weather Service had a confirmed tornado south of Waynoka, Oklahoma around 5 p.m. local time, according to CNN Weather.
The photographer, Kyle Brittain, works in industrial rope access in Calgary, Alberta. He's also an aspiring meteorologist.
