(RNN) - Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay will pay the funeral costs of a former player and Uber driver killed by an alleged drunk driver Sunday, according to sports reporter Bob Kravitz.
Manuel Orrego-Savala, a Guatemalan man, who had been deported twice from the U.S., rammed his vehicle into Edwin Jackson, 26, and Jeffrey Monroe, 54, while they were standing on the side of an interstate, police said.
Customs Enforcement officials said Orrego-Savala was previously convicted of driving under the influence in California in 2005.
