TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - While the high school soccer season may be over, competitive soccer reaches a pinnacle this weekend, as it's Final Four time in the state of Florida, and seven teams from Tallahassee are represented.

ASG is sending four girls and three boys clubs to the President's Cup, essentially the State Tournament, this weekend. How'd they get there? By winning the right to represent the Region at the tournament.

It's a big deal too, as winners this weekend advance to Regionals, which then advance to Nationals, and ASG coaching director Andy Warner couldn't be more pleased.

"They've beaten the best teams available within our region, now we're looking forward to challenging ourselves of the best teams in the state," he said at practice on Thursday. "Florida is one of the two best states in the country for providing soccer players, ourselves and California, so we know know we'll have to have two great games back to back to win it, but that's why we're playing and we're excited about the opportunity."
