TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M kept it close with South Carolina State, at least until halftime, but after the break, the visiting Bulldogs left no doubt.

SC State turned a 13-10 advantage at the start of the third quarter into a 34-17 victory over the Rattlers at Bragg Memorial Stadium on FAMU's senior day.

"There is no good feeling to losing," said Rattlers' interim head coach Corey Fuller. "There's not much you can take out of losing, especially when you get beat like that at home. It's not so much the scoreboard. It's how it looked; it's how it felt, and it was bad today."

Florida A&M gained just 46 yards on the ground and committed three turnovers against the Bulldogs' defense. Damien Fleming, in his final game in front of the Rattlers' home crowd, threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
