VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Winnersville Classic needs no introduction. Lowndes and Valdosta is one of the best rivalries in high school football in the country.

On Monday night, the Junior Winnersville Classic took centerstage. The Classic is an All-Star game for Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation, and while these kids showed their stuff they're also looking for some bragging rights.

"A picture is worth a million dollars because every one one of those kids that come out here tonight, you see them coming on the field, they know it's an All-Star game," said VLPRA Executive Director George Page. "It's the Wildcats vs. the Vikings. They're playing their little hearts out and they're all excited. Just to see that and as it's a second year event, it's really a great opportunity for our kids and our community."

The event will go back to Martin Stadium in it's third year in 2019.
