TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - This weekend, over a dozen high school basketball teams from Tennessee to South Florida come to Tallahassee for the Inspire Classic held at Rickards High School.
Dozens of unsigned Division One and mid-major talent will showcase their skills. It's a chance for high school hoops fans to see some top notch basketball and for Rickards? It's a chance to get better against the best.
"We have a lot of unsigned seniors that are going to play Division I basketball, probably got about eight high major kids coming in in the Power 5 conferences," said Rickards head coach Eli Bryant of the talent descending Tallahassee. "Day in and day out we don't this kind of competition, so it gives us a chance to play against teams that are better than us to see how we stack up to see how far back we are, to see how ahead we are."
