TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Florida State's special teams unit was plagued by penalties and lack of production all season. On Thursday, it appears Willie Taggart has decided to change some things, as reports point to coordinator Alonzo Hampton being relieved of his duties.
The report was first published by The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, who covers college football nationally.
Hampton worked with Taggart at South Florida, as well as at Oregon. Hampton is the second change to Seminole coaching staff so far this year, as Kendal Briles was hired as offensive coordinator after Walt Bell left to coach at Massachusetts.
