TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - One game may not be all Florida State basketball lost on Saturday.
The Noles dropped their third game in four outings, losing to Clemson 53-49 at the Donald L. Tucker Center, but FSU also lost leading scorer Ian Miller to an ankle injury in the first half.
Miller did not return after the break, as the Seminoles saw a three-point halftime lead turn into a four-point loss.
"Clemson did a very good job of controlling the tempo," Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton said. "I think we got lulled into playing the game at their pace."
The Noles committed just 11 turnovers in the game, as opposed to Clemson's 17, but FSU shot just 34 percent from the field, as the Tigers knocked down 43 percent of their shots.
The Seminoles next game comes Wednesday, February 5 at home against Virginia Tech. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
