State semi-final volleyball action swept through the big bend on Saturday afternoon.
In Class 8A, Leon played host to the Huskies from Hagerty. Behind big performances from Makayla Washington, Shania Cromartie and Macy Maxwell, the Lions cruised to a four set win.
In their third straight state semi-final appearance, Leon broke the losing streak and will now play Venice in the state championship in Jacksonville next Saturday.
Sneads continued their domination of 1A competition as they swept Blountstown 3-0.
