TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Class 8A District 2 is lovingly called the "District of Death" around Leon County. Chiles, Lincoln, and Leon are three good volleyball teams, and they're all in that deathly District.
The Timberwolves of Chiles hosted Leon High on Tuesday night, looking to avenge an earlier season loss to their rivals. The visiting Lions jumped out to an early first set lead, and never looked back, winning 25-14, 25-14, 25-9 to stay perfect in District play.
Munroe was also in action Tuesday night, winning in straight sets over Tallavana Christian. Jada Watkins led the Bobcats with 12 aces, seven kills, and 15 digs.
North Florida Christian picked up a three set win over Rickards on the road. Alicia Price and Alex Poppell each had eight kills in the win over the Raiders.
