TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tuesday night was a big night on the volleyball court for area high schools teams, and no match was bigger than that of Chiles and Lincoln High Schools, as the two 7A District 2 powers battled it out.
Chiles captured the first set 25-21, but Lincoln responded in the second, jumping out to an early lead before winning 25-18.
The match went the full five sets, with Lincoln coming out on top 3-2. The race in 7A-2 is now deadlocked, as Lincoln, Chiles, and Leon are all 1-1.
There were several out of District contests too, as Godby beat Franklin County 3-1, and the Wakulla War Eagles took North Florida Christian a full five sets, winning 3-2.
