TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A big congratulations goes to Kiarra Jordan, better known as K.J., from Rickards High School.
Jordan, a star track athlete, cried tears of joy as she signed to attend South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.
Johnson competed for four years at Rickards and is a district champion in the 400, relay member and as a jumper.
Jordan says although they were not able to complete their season, her time as a Raider is something she will never forget.
"Thank you to Rickards for letting me be here and run for you guys," said Jordan. "It was an amazing four years."
Jordan's coach says South Plains is one of the top JUCO schools in the country right now and a perfect fit for one of Rickard's top athletes.
