LIVA OAK, Fl. (WTXL) - The Suwannee High Bulldogs made their first playoff appearance since 2015 last year, and that's momentum they're looking to build off of.
Head coach Kyler Hall says this group is the most experienced he's had at his Alma mater as far as leaders and returning starters go. They return Tyree Taylor at quarterback, while the offensive line returns every starter but one, and they have some depth at receiver and running back as well.
"This will be the first year that offensively and defensively we'll do the same things going into the next year," he said. "That's been a plus, with guys not having to learn new terminology or a different scheme. We'll have more guys step up. We'll have more guys playing both sides of the ball this year than we have in the past few years, but that comes with the territory, lot of teams do that anyways. That's where we got."
Suwannee hosts Yulee Friday the 16th for a preseason kickoff.
