TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Florida State volleyball team fell in Regional play to Stanford this season, capping off a stellar year for the Seminoles, who finished 26-6.
On Wednesday, the Noles kicked off summer camp in a big way, as 120 kids showed up for week one of camp.
Head coach Chris Poole said he expects near record attendance over the next couple of weeks for camp, as over 600 girls are expected to be in Tallahassee.
"That makes it really nice for us to be able to bring them together, expose them to what Florida State volleyball does," he said, adding the number reflects directly on the success of Seminole volleyball. "We realize there's a lot of different ways to coach volleyball, but we want to try to show them and expose them to what we do here at our University. The girls, it's so much fun to work with them, because you can see the young ones make so much improvement in just a very short amount of time."
