WASHINGTON - After losing the first five games of the season the FAMU Rattlers have now won two in a row. Damien Fleming threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more and Florida A&M held on to beat Howard 31-28 on Saturday.
The Rattlers jumped out to a 31-7 lead on the Bison taking the Homecoming crowd out of the game. Then FAMU had to hold off a furious second half comeback effort to secure the win.
Up next Florida A&M will stay on the road as they travel to take on North Carolina A&T next Saturday.
