VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Valdosta State won big, once again, this time against Florida Tech. To make the win even sweeter, Valdosta State celebrated Homecoming this weekend.

The 1st quarter was pretty evenly matched. VSU would score the first touchdown with a pass from Rogan Wells to Lio'undre Gallimore. Under a minute after that touchdown, Florida Tech marched down the field and scored on a 51 yard touchdown pass.

The Blazers would go into half with a 41-21 lead. Neither team would score in the 3rd quarter. However, the blazers would hold Tech to just one touchdown in the 2nd half.

The Blazers defeated Tech 55-28 to move on to 22 straight wins. Brian Saunds had a huge game for the blazers. He set a single game receiving record with 246 yards.
