Valdosta State has been notified that the NCAA DII South Region Basketball Tournament to be held at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida will have a limited attendance policy. Valdosta State is scheduled to play Palm Beach Atlantic in the tournament's opening round on Saturday at noon. Fans, cheerleaders and bands will not be allowed in the arena for the tournament games. There will be limited attendance for player's family members. The NCAA announced earlier today that the Division I men's and women's basketball tournaments would also be played with limited attendance due to the COVID-19.
