VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — The Blazers' fate is sealed for the post season. VSU men's basketball is on a 15-game win streak with only three losses on the year.

The Blazers are ranked 9th in Division II and have just two games left on the year. The next one being against the West Florida Argonauts Thursday night.

Head coach Mike Helfer said West Florida's coach is extremely experienced. He said he expects Jeff Burkhamer to throw his team some curve balls come Thursday.

"I think their kids are more bought in to what Jeff is emphasizing at West Florida," said Helfer. "The key to coaching is not what you know, but what your kids know when they're on the floor and what they buy in to. It appears to me they have kind of bought in to his system a little bit better and they've played a lot better the last couple weeks of the season."
