TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee Community College is on a mission to make sure it's students have food on the table to eat this Thanksgiving.
Monday, the college gave 50 students turkey, canned goods, vegetables, and more to enjoy on Thursday.
"Growing up, I use to go through a lot of food insecurity myself so when I found out about it, because I like to help out, I love helping people seeing people smile, so I was like, 'I gotta help out,' said William Brodrick, a TCC student. "And just seeing people smiling after getting their food, it puts a nice little feeling on the inside."
Talon's Market organized the giveaway.
