TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tallahassee Community College men's basketball team has a new head coach.
According to TCC's Athletic Director Rob Chaney, Interim Head Coach Zach Settembre, will get the interim tag taken off and will officially become the next head basketball coach for TCC.
He will formally be introduced on April 2.
Settembre, who served as interim head coach since mid-January, is the Eagles’ fourth head coach since joining the NJCAA in 1990 and succeeds Mark White, who stepped down from the post in January.
Settembre coached the final 10 games of the 2018-19 season and guided the Eagles to a 5-5 record, highlighted by a win over eventual Panhandle Conference and FCSAA State Champion Northwest Florida State College in the home finale on February 20.
TCC ended the season with a record of 22-7, 6-6 (third place) in Panhandle Conference play and a No. 7 ranking in Region 8.
