TALLAHASSEE — The second ranked team in the nation, Florida State Soccer kicks-off ACC tournament play this week against Notre Dame.

The Seminoles capped off a perfect undefeated regular season when they shut-out third ranked Clemson at home last weekend. The Noles will bring all that momentum with them to Cary, North Carolina this week for a shot at a conference title. But head coach Mark Krikorian has his team’s sights focused right now on 14th ranked Notre Dame, who FSU dominated in a 5-0, shutout win back in September. Come Tuesday he knows the Fighting Irish will be a completely different team than they were before.

“We’re going to travel up on Monday and play an early game on Tuesday. Interesting to start the ACC tournament the way we started the ACC schedule with Notre Dame. They’re a different team now, we’re a different team now," said FSU head soccer coach Mark Krikorian. "If you think back too that first game of the season there were so many unknowns by all of us. When I look at it now I think we’re playing very well right now and I think Notre Dame has much improved from the time we saw them here a couple months ago.”

Tuesday's game is set to start at 12:30 p.m.
