TALLAHASSE, Fl. (WTXL) — Congratulations are in order for 12 rattlers who have been named All-MEAC Pre-Season.
1st Team:
- Chris Faddoul - Punter
- Yahia Aly - Punter/Kicker
2nd Team:
- Ryan Stanley - Quarterback
- Deshawn Smith - Running Back
- Xavier Smith - Wide Receiver
- Marcus Williams - Right Safety
- Terry Jefferson - Defensive Back
3rd Team:
- Bishop Bonnett - Running Back
- Chad Hunter - Wide Receiver
- Demontre Moore - Defensive Tackle
- Elijah Richardson - Linebacker
- Herman Jackson - Defensive Back
FAMU has been picked to finish 3rd in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The rattlers fall behind defending champion North Carolina A&T and Bethune Cookman.
Last year, FAMU finished 6-5 and tied for 2nd in the MEAC at 5-2.
